I've got a problem that's really driving me crazy. I get a net-mail in from zone 46, I reply to it, it works perfectly fine. I get a net-mail from Marc Lewis, Zone-1, net 396, node 45, I try to reply to his message and it locks
up. I alt-tab to the window that shows the session with the "ALT-V to view session" (whatever you want to call that window). I have to close out the window by hitting the X on the window. When I do that, the telnet session
gets terminated and I can then log back in, go to the net-mail area, post a
new netmail message to Marc Lewis at 1:396/45 and it works fine. As long as
I post a message, it works, if I reply to anyone but Marc Lewis, it works. Reply to Marc Lewis's message, it doesn't work. I've tried runing SquishFix
on the message area, didn't help. Didn't seem to have any problems. I've checked and Marc's entry in my echo mail node list appears to be the same
    as anyone else's.

Another problem here: there are no Zonegates listed in Zone 2 Nodelist
for fidonet Zones 1-4, so Zone 1 Zonegate will no longer work ... :-P but this is another story ....
O.k. This is really messed up! It'd appear our great elected officials
of fidonet are slacking. ;-) I'd have to look into the past nodelist files
to see where the removal of the zone gates occured. Most likely the zone coordinator changed something in the config file for his version of makenl or nlmake, etc whatever he uses. He most likely didn't notice that for some strange reason he lost the zone gates. Either that, or he was just a jerk
and didn't want Zone 1 communicating with Zone 2, and said "I'll just take
the zone gates out, so no one has to listen to Zone 1!" Who knows, maybe he
was kicked out of a Zone1 echomail area, and thought "Hey, if they can't contact my echo mail feeds, they can't cut them!" But otherwise, assuming
he removed the zone gates because no one could provide the gating service in zone 2 due to expensive cost and lack of internet feed to various zones, then I'd say why wouldn't he have the decency to contact the other zone managers
and let them know he was removing them. Who knows, maybe he did and the zone
1 coordinator just got forgetful and said "Yeah, I'll remove it this week",
    and this week never come....
