For those planning to attend the 2017 Single Square Dancers USA Labor
Day Dance-A-Rama in North Little Rock, Arkansas...from August 31 through September 3, there are a couple of issues OUTSIDE of the Dance-A-Rama,
that you may have to deal with.

    1) The Arkansas Razorbacks Football Team will be playing their ONLY game
in Little Rock, Arkansas for the 2017 season, at War Memorial Stadium,
on Thursday, August 31 -- the rest of their "home games" will be at
their main campus in Fayetteville in northwest Arkansas. The game in
Little Rock this year is possibly the FINAL TIME that the football team
    will play in Little Rock.

Traffic is LIKELY to be VERY HEAVY on Interstate 630...especially
around Exit 5 (University Avenue), Exit 4 (Fair Park Boulevard), plus
Exits 3B and 3A (Pine Street, Cedar Street, and Woodrow Street).

Traffic is also likely to be heavy on West Markham Street, and possibly
    on West 12th Street.

Plus, traffic may be heavy on Interstate 30 through downtown Little
Rock, and Interstate 430 on the west side of Little Rock. And then, you
have the "regular rush hour traffic" on top of it.

    2) The forecast models are having a difficult time on the future of the remnants of Hurricane Harvey, which slammed ashore near Rockport, Texas,
last night, as a Category 4 hurricane, with 130 mph winds.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms may result...so, you
might want to consider bringing "rain gear".
